Memorial Day Message & Community Ceremony Invitation

Dear Soledad Unified Families, Staff, and Students,

This Memorial Day, we are reminded of the solemn purpose of this national holiday: to honor and remember the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and commitment have made possible the freedoms we enjoy today, including the opportunity to learn, work, and grow together in our Soledad schools.

We encourage everyone in our community to take a moment over the holiday weekend to reflect on the sacrifices made by our service members and their families.

In observance of Memorial Day, we also invite you to attend the City of Soledad Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the Soledad Cemetery. This annual event provides an opportunity for our community to come together in gratitude and remembrance.

As the school year nears its close, we remain focused on finishing strong—there are still important opportunities for learning, celebration, and connection in these final weeks.
